ABOUT AYSAD…

AYSAD was founded in 1972 by 10 founders working in the leading companies of Turkey. This association has been founded with the basic goal of lobbying in respect oflaws and regulations onlifts, and its goals and activities have been listed as follows in its bylaws:

Goals and Objectives of Association:
The association is founded in order to gather together the leading and innovative entrepreneurs of Elevators and Escalators Industry for solidarity purposes, and to represent them in national and international platforms, and to provide its members with training, information, organization and strategy supports aimed at global competitiveness. AYSAD strives for ensuring that safer and higher quality lifts, escalators and their parts and components are manufactured and put into the market in strict compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and standards. Within this framework, AYSAD enters into cooperation with, gives information support to, and participates in collaborative activities together with, the Official Bodiesand Authorities.

AYSAD further takes actions to keep consumers and other non-governmental organizationsinformed about the progress anddevelopments in lawsand regulations and in technology.

Only persons working and employed in companies that are founded in accordance with the laws and that accept the principles of AYSAD may be enrolled in AYSAD. As of today, AYSAD has 104 members from 74 companies.
