Profile

In 2001, the CLA became a full member of the European Logistics Association (ELA) based in Brussels and in 2004 a member of the European Certification Board for Logistics (ECBL) and thus the national certification authority for managers – specialists in the logistics field.

The main mission of CLA is to provide its members with professional assistance in the solving of logistic problems, to provide a platform for interaction with experts from outside the logistics field, to distribute information about the logistics and to work with logistic associations and similar organizations in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Business

The activities of CLA are governed by its statutes. Members of CLA may be legal and natural persons active in the field of logistics. The management and executive body of CLA is a Presidium elected at a conference of members for a period of five years. The current composition of the Presidium is shown here. The main point of contact with CLA is through its secretariat.

System solutions for logistics in the Czech Republic, in relation to the European logistic network, require cooperation with competent state bodies and operators of logistic services in order to maintain optimal effects for the economic sphere and the whole society. CLA therefore initiated the establishment of the Expert Team for Logistics (ET) as an expert advisory body, which – through the integration of unions, associations and other entities – extends influence on the state administration and local authorities, without whose participation in the wide arrangement of public logistics centers (PLC) the intention given above cannot, in fact, be implemented.
