AKDER

AKDER Turkish Fluid Power Association, regardin gfluid power systems in Turkey, leading distributorship and project, production, representation activities, respecting the rules of commercial ethics, is a non-govermental organization, founded in1994 by the representatives of trading firms registered in local chambers of commerce.

The main purpose of establishment is being a spokesman for the Hydraulic and Pneumatic sector in Turkey, to work for the development of the sector and members it represents and to representthe industry on national and international platforms. As of 2015, AKDER has 76 members and represents approximately 90% of the Turkish fluid power industry.

Since the year 2002, it is a member of CETOP European Fluid Power Committee. Hydraulic Gear Pumps, Piston Pumps, Control Valves, Hydraulic Hoses, Connectors, SealingElements and Hydraulic Cylinders are the products Turkey mainly exports in the field of hydraulics.

Compressors, Pneumatic Cylinders and a section of Control Valves are the products Turkey mainly exports in the field of pneumatics. A major part of Hydraulic (60%) and Pneumatic (70%) industry in Turkey is providing by the imports. In Turkey, the productsare mainly importing in the field of hydraulics are Servo and Cartridge Valves, Piston and Vane Pumps and Motors and Hydraulic Products in special dimensions; the products aremainly importing in the field of pneumatics are Servo and Proportional Valves and Pneumatic Motors etc.

AKDER is sharing knowledge mutually forstatistics and collaborating on the EU Machine Directives and Standards with CETOP.

The issue of education is an important part of the cooperation with CETOP.

AKDER provides education and training to engineers andtechniciansof Hydraulic and Pneumatic industry by the National Fluid Power Training Center (UAGEM-ISTANBUL) operates withinthe association since 2009. Training was given around 1.500 technical staff till today.

National Fluid Power Training CenterUAGEM has becomean approved trainingcenterthat can give the training cer-tificatesare approvedby CETOP since 2015.
