Seifert Logistics Group

The Seifert Logistics Group (SLG) currently generates a turnover of around 330 million eurosat over 45 locations. Since its foundation in 1947, the Seifert Logistics Group has developed from a regional market leader to an internationally operating forwarding and contract logistics service provider.

SLG currently manages over 950,000 square meters of warehouse space and dispatches more than 300,000 km of partial and full loads every day, using 450 of its own vehicle units and 380 subcontractors operating in Seifert CI. The group of companies also achieves success in the areas of research and development, digitalization and additive manufacturing. In this context, the LaSiChem load securing system developed and patented by Seifert deserves special mention.

The Seifert Logistics Group includes the foreign subsidiary Seifert Polska Sp.z o.o, founded in 1999, as well as two domestic subsidiaries and a joint venture. Seifert Logistik Dienstleistung GmbH which was founded in 1996 and operates in the contract logistics segment.

In 2000, Seifert Service GmbH was founded with headquarters in Merseburg, which offers tank and silo cleaning services to customers. The joint venture Fried- Seifert GmbH was founded in 2014. With the foundation of Seifert Automotive Logistics GmbH in the year, the business field of industrial contract logistics is further strengthened.

According to the Fraunhofer Institute, we are among the TOP 100 logistics companies in Germany. In addition, the group of companies is one of the TOP JOB employers according to the University of St. Gallen. SLG currently trains around 80 apprentices and dual students.

In addition, the Ulm-based company won the Eco-Performance Award for its sustainability. In November 2022, the new company headquarters in the north of Ulm, consisting of a logistics center and a modern office world, was opened.
