Silicon-based supplements - For your well-being

In nature, silica primarily exists in crystalline (uniform) structures. In this form, the mineral cannot be used by humans or can be used only to a very limited degree.  

For better bioavailability (retardation), the original raw material must accordingly be made available to the body in a different form.

In conventional silica products, the amorphous raw material silicon dioxide is generally present in large particles (siliceous earth). The result is a relatively small surface onto which the intestinal mucosa and the intestinal bacteria cannot optimally attach. Thus only a limited amount of the silica in the starting material is then released and made available to the body.

The objective of our team, which consists of chemists, biologists, physicians, alternative practitioners and technicians, was to develop a technology with which the silica bioavailability (retardation - entire digestive tract) of the raw materials is optimized. Many tries and scientific research work then led to the desired result.

The development of the SAM technology (surface activation of minerals)  

 ✓ Optimal availability

The macroscopic raw material can be thought of as larger "clumps" which the body has difficulty using or cannot use at all.

These "clumps" are made smaller by the SAM technology and prevented from forming clumps again through a special activation of the surface.

This creates a much larger surface and thus achieves an optimal supply for the body.

✓ Supply to deep regions of the intestines

We assume that, because of the SAM technology, a depot effect occurs which significantly increases the retention time of the silica in the intestines and thus the silica supply of the entire intestinal tract. The silica is transported with food into the deep regions of the intestines and it is also available as food for the intestinal bacteria themselves.

The latest results allow conclusions to be drawn regarding this positive effect. Evidence-based scientific studies are currently being conducted.

Together with support from the Medical Board of the Institut Dr. Rilling Healthcare GmbH, the technology is progressing and additional products with the valuable mineral silica are being developed.
