Certifications
Since the beginning, GIELLE PLAST has always believed that the internal quality system should be developed along the lines followed by its customers with much larger structures. This way of thinking soon led the company to achieve the ISO 9001 system certification and, later on, the ISO 14001 environmental certification.
Then the company underwent process audits carried out by important customers such as UFI FILTERS, BSH, DE LONGHI Group and NESTLÈ, with very positive results. In 2015 GIELLEPLAST attained another imnportant goal, namely, the ISO TS 16949 certification.

Thanks to its partner company JULIA STAMPI, GIELLE PLAST is also in a position to support its customers through the design and production of injection moulds. GIELLE PLAST is active in the European and international markets.

OUR GROUP HAS SKILLS IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT SECTORS
Presses, moulds and raw materials are only the ingredients we use. Our skill consists in knowing how to combine them in an optimal way to obtain perfect products. We use dozens of different technopolymers, and the knowledge of their individual technical characteristics and individual behaviours during the transformation process is another fundamental aspect of our activity.
TECHNOLOGY
Prestigious technology and a state-of-the-art machines inventory
GIELLE PLAST has a comprehensive inventory of injection presses. Production is divided between two production units which both operate on a three-shift schedule. The available tonnage ranges from 50 to 600 tons, for a total of 30 machines.
All the presses are equipped with robots and various tools. Four of them can mould two materials at the same time (130t-150t-200t and 600t), all are equipped with a rotary table and an index system for the rotation of individual plates. Large tonnage presses (480t and 600t) are equipped with a sequential injection system and several accessories for complex moulding tests.
Several presses are equipped with automatic servo systems for the co-moulding of threaded or magnetic inserts, with 6-axis robots, on line hot blade welders, ultrasonic welders and pad printing devices The company’s ongoing research activities led to investments in low power consumption systems. Several presses are equipped with an integrated inverter or full electric system, and 2 presses have an injection system with nitrogen accumulator.

Flow analysis, research, development and design
Thanks to the professionals working for its associated company JULIA STAMPI and to its own know-how, GIELLE PLAST can offer the end customer full support for all the activities connected with the moulding process. GIELLE PLAST can act directly in the product/process design stage with co-design activities.
With the help of skilled external suppliers, GIELLE PLAST can also supply a study of polymer filling flows and structural analyses. Its associated company JULIA STAMPI has n° 3 product and mould design stations and n°3 CAM stations.

AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR
AUTOMOTIVE SECTORGIELLE PLAST produces automotive parts, including 1k-2k engine compartments, 1k-2k front and back lights, chromium-plated insignia, aesthetic details of the dashboards, control unit boxes and alarm sirens.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES SECTOR
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES SECTORGIELLE PLAST produces parts for the household appliances sector, for 1k-2k electric motors in self-extinguishing materials, magnetic details and co-moulded threaded parts, aesthetic details treated according to food-contact regulations, ultrasonic- and hot-blade-welded details, galvanised aesthetic materials (chrome-plating, velour finishing), technical parts constructed by means of a (external) two- or single-component foaming process , painted and dipped parts.
XIVET
XIVETXIVET is a GIELLE PLAST proprietary brand that identifies a line of products manufactured entirely in-house, from product design, to the construction of the necessary equipment, to the production of the individual pieces. The products are used in the led lighting of streets, private areas and in devices for indoor lighting in the industrial sector. With regard to door electronics, GIELLE PLAST works with a local partner and consults with Philips. The latter signed an agreement with GIELLE PLAST that allows the company to access all the patents of the lighting sector. It is a licensing agreement called ENABLED.
