Silkeborg Spaantagning Baltic SIA

Silkeborg Spaantagning Baltic, Ltd. was founded in 2005 as the first foreign branch of Maskinfabrikken Silkeborg Spåntagning. SSB's area of competence is metal work in CNC turning and milling. At the moment in our sawing, turning, milling, drilling, welding and administrative departments there are employed 80 people.

Every year we provide new studens of Liepaja State Technical School, Latvia University of Agriculture and Liepaja University with praxis and within possibilities offer them a stable working place afterwards.

The company is located in Liepaja Business Centre, 2 Kapsedes street, Liepaja and occupy an area of 3000 m2. Since 2007 we are a member of Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia.

Maskinfabrikken Silkeborg Spåntagning A/S (MSSP) was founded in 1989 and is specialized in turning, milling, drilling and other related services. Today MSSP is a global supplier with production facilities in Europe (Silkeborg, Denmark and Liepaja, Latvia) and Asia (Chongqing, China).

MSSP has been working for several leading international customers within Wind, Marine and Offshore, Energy, Water and Pump industry, etc.

SMC - Chongqing Silkeborg Machinery Co., Ltd.  was founded in 2010 as the second foreign branch of Maskinfabrikken Silkeborg Spåntagning .  It is located in Tongliang Industrial Park which is around 60KM away from Chongqing, China. Area of competence is metal work like brass, steel, aluminum etc. in CNC turning and milling. It mainly provides world-leading international windmill manufacturers with windmill components, and its product are sold to China, Europe, America,  Canada, etc.

Its mother company Maskinfabrikken Silkeborg Spåntagning AS  was founded in 1989 and is now one of the leading Danish companies within metal industry specializing in turning, milling, drilling and similar processes.  MSSP has been working for several leading international customers within Wind, Marine and Offshore, Energy, Water and Pump industry, etc.
