Christmas Present for Latvian AHK Members: Picked Apples from Kocēni

For the turbulent year of 2020, the Latvian office of the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce wanted to make a special Christmas present for their members in Latvia: handpicked apples. In September, they went to the fruit-growing farm "Rīvēni" located north of Riga in the region of Kocēni. The farm's owner is a friend of the Latvian office manager of the German-Baltich Chamber of Commerce, Māris Balčūns. There, the office staff picked round 2.5 tonnes of apples and, afterwards, put them in a cold storage near the farm to keep them freshly till December, when they packed them as part of the Christmas present.
